* The Department of Mass Communication is a promotional religious service organization of the Ministry of Information of the Government.
* Through 6 information offices including 64 districts and 4 hill upazilas of the country, this department informs, educates and motivates the people of the country about the programs and policies of the government and involves them in the development of the country.
* The District Information Office provides services to the public through the implementation of advocacy programs through interpersonal communication and specific publicity strategies on various social, economic and health related issues.
